Shifter Fins are more than simply chopped-off regular fins. Each is a dedicated design specifically calculated for a particular kite. They give the greatest range of adjustment possible between the fore and aft extremes of stability, plus they give a visual indication of where those limits are, so the flyer can avoid unstable towing point positions in the field.
